Hi, my name is Smudge, I’m a Hearing Dog living in London, England. I’m a cocker poo (cocker spaniel and poodle cross), a breed that’s great for people with allergies. Mum says the best words to describe me are super-friendly, intelligent, and far too cheeky. Not to mention gorgeous hehehe! Enjoy the read.

Hello Smudge and Mum
I met you a few weeks ago, while I was supporting people at the Business Link event. I have finally found your contact details and wanted to say hello. Remember me?
Sorry to read about the paw. LEAVE IT ALONE! And what is wrong with Mum? Are you seeing doctors too? Stop that
Many Regards
Alan
Hi Alan
Hello again! Don’t you have a blog as well? My paw is better now so hopefully no more doggy doctors for me
Mum is fed up with doctors too. She needs a cochlear implant, you can read the story at http://funnyoldlife.wordpress.com
She will get back from holiday soon, and write more.
Thanks for dropping by
Smudge
Hello Smudge
We met at the meeting on Monday night. I thought you behaved impeccably -you had to still still and be quiet for so long. Well, on second thoughts, perhaps stealing that smoked salmon sandwich when you were let off your lead would not count as good behaviour with some people! The speed at which you dashed across the room to grab it was pretty impressive too -you would have left Usain Bolt behind.
I told my chocolate Labs, Rolo and Annabel, all about you. Give my good wishes to Mum.
Maeve
Hi Maeve
It was lovely to meet you too, I tried so hard to get a bite of your sandwich, it smelled delicious, but mum had her beady eyes on me. Perhaps at our next meeting, I will be successful (or you can slip me a bit!). Say a big hello to Rolo and Annabel from me. See you soon and mum says hi too

my dearest darling Smudge,
I fell in love with you the day I saw you, inspite of the fact that I am basically scared of dogs. You are the first one I ever cuddled and kissed:)
I keep talking about you to my husband, telling him how cute and naughty you are.
When I leave UCL in end of Nov09, I am going to miss you terribly, but would like to visit you once in a while atleast.
Lots of love and hugs and kisses,
Meena
Hi Meena,
Thank you for the beautiful love letter….. I love you too
Next time you visit, please rub my tummy again. I really enjoyed that. I also like being tickled behind my ears and under my chin.
So……, who’s been telling stories about me? A little naughtiness spices up life a little, don’t you think?
See you soon, please stop by and see us again, we’ll miss your pretty smiling face in December so let’s make the most of it. More cuddles!

Hi Sally, I’m so glad you didn’t mind me licking your hand. Mum thinks it’s overly excessive sometimes. I am known for being able to sleep anywhere, but have to say your lap was very comfy indeed. Hope Lily doesn’t mind sharing. Maybe I’ll bump into you again one day?
Kisses, Smudge x
Hi, nice to meet you !
